Directions from Airport to Hotel

By Taxi (Changi Airport -> Merchant Court Hotel):
There are taxi stands at the Arrival Hall and services are available 24 hours daily. Give the address to the driver and tell him Merchant Court Hotel. Taxis are metered and start from S$2.40. Additional midnight surcharge is 50% of metered fare (from midnight to 6am). Additional airport surcharge is S$5 from Friday to Sunday (5pm to midnight), S$3 for all other times. Tipping is not expected. It should take around 30 minutes.

By MRT (Changi Airport Station -> Clarke Quay Station):
If you arrived at airport Terminal 1, take a free inter-terminal service SkyTrain to Terminal 2. Else if you are already at Terminal 2, purchase a standard ticket (or you can purchase a stored value ticket -- EZ link card for multiple trips at a cheaper rate, please inquire at the ticketing counter) at the Changi Airport MRT Station (CG2) for S$1.80 and board the MRT train on any platform as all trains head toward the same direction at this point. You will need to change train (after 2 stops) at the Tanah Merah Station, cross over on the train platform and board a WEST bound train (there will be announcements, for these WEST bound trains, referring to the end Stations at Boon Lay or Jurong East. You don't have to hurry as you can always hop onto the next train). Continue on the west bound train till you reach Outram Station (alternate route via Dhoby Ghaut is also possible, however, it will not be described here). At the Outram Station (here you are on the EastWest line), you will have to walk a short distance (about 2-3min) to an inter-linking sub-Station -- the NorthEast line (please note: you don't have to pass through any ticket gate). Once you reach the NorthEast line, board the train with end Station Punggol (not Harbourfront), you will reach Clarke Quay Station after 2 stops. Here, you just need to walk about 2 minutes to the hotel lobby as the hotel is just behind the Station. It should take around 40 minutes for the entire trip.
